Well, the announcement I thought I was going to be making this afternoon was that 94.5 FMX's 38th Birthday Bash was sold out.

Ticket sales paced for a sell-out this afternoon, but there was one problem. When band management checked the specs on the stage at Jake's Backroom, they found that the band's video screens could not fit in the venue. Lead singer Chris Motionless, at 6'1" tall, would be hitting his face on the screens (or you couldn't see them behind him). Anyhow, with the technical problems and the high demand for tickets, this show will now be held at the Lonestar Event Center Pavilion.

As reported by Loudwire, Motionless also began a set of cryptic teasers on their website, so the excitement for this band is very high right now.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause fans, but it appears from initial reactions this is where fans wanted this show to be all along. It's going to be a nice 78-degree day and the wind will be down, so it should be a good night for a little indoor/outdoor metal. Plus, the increased space means that more tickets ARE available for the show.

One other note: Don't miss the opener, Wilson. We feel like these guys could explode into the big time at any moment.

To help this news go down a little quicker, we're going to give someone a chance to be King/Queen of the Bash. How would you like to meet & greet Motionless In White And Atreyu? We can and will hook that up. Just download the FMX app, and watch for a special invitation to check out the show, score some FMX merch and hang out with the headliners.
