On Sunday, September 13, six people were hospitalized in a rollover accident near the Dickens County and Crosby County line.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred at about 3:30 p.m. on U.S. 84 in Dickens County.

Troopers say a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer was heading west on U.S. 84 when it suffered a blowout.

The driver lost control of the vehicle and entered the center median of the highway before rolling several times.

The driver and five other passengers were injured in the accident, although the severity of their injuries is unclear.

They were taken to Covenant Hospital in Lubbock, with at least one being airlifted. Their current condition is unknown.
