Beloved Blue Bell Treats Make a Sweet Comeback in 2025!

Ice cream in Texas is more than a treat, it's a necessity.

The days and summers are so hot in Texas that we'll take an opportunity to cool down. Anything from a glass of cold sweet tea to a dip in the pool is welcome, but there's nothing like sitting down to a bowl of ice cream. Since this is Texas we're talking about, that ice cream is always going to be Blue Bell.

The Contest

"The best ice cream in the country" recently held a "Scoop Revival Flavor Tournament" with Groom's Cake coming out on top. The company also gave into the high demand for "Cookie Cake". These two flavors will now return to shelves for a limited time in 2025.

The Flavors

So what is "Groom's Cake"? This flavor starts with chocolate ice cream swirled with chocolate icing and strawberry sauce with strawberry hearts and chocolate cake pieces throughout. It certainly seems to be a well thought out and much loved flavor.  As for the "Cookie Cake" it's , sweet cream ice cream with sweet cream ice cream with swirls of chocolate and vanilla icing, with chocolate chip cookie cake pieces.

The Runner's Up

We should mention the flavors that didn't make the revival this time around. They include Raspberry Fudge Brownie, Hot Fudge Brownie, Lemon Bliss, Mocha Madness, Red Velvet Cake, Blueberry Cheesecake, Triple Caramel, Tiramisu, Strawberry Cheesecake, Key Lime Pie, Creole Cream Cheese, Gingerbread House, Cherry Amaretto Cordial, and Triple Chocolate. Any of these flavors are anything but "losers" and only a reminder of things we missed out on!
