Famous Lubbock Haunt Opens This Weekend With a Wild New Attraction
It's the most wonderful time of the year. Haunt season is my favorite above all others, and one of the best ways to kick off the season is by visiting Lubbock's famous haunted attraction, Nightmare On 19th Street.
There's only one thing more thrilling than to have access to a world-class haunted attraction within minutes of our home, and that's to have access to FOUR haunted attractions, all wrapped up in an amusement park full of ghouls and goblins, literally minutes away from my front door.
Friday, September 27th, starts opening weekend for Nightmare On 19th Street's 13th year, and it's the place to be while enjoying some awesome weather this weekend.
Box office opens at 7:30 p.m. Friday night, and attractions begin at 8 p.m.
This year, the experts in making your skin crawl have added Krampus to the mix with an all new haunt for those of us who enjoy Nightmare On 19th Street as an annual family tradition.
My kids and I will likely be spotted on a regular basis at our favorite place to have fun during spooky season, so don't be afraid to say "hello!" or, better yet, "BOO!" I've even been out there while walking around with a cane, so it's a great place for some family bonding without worry of injury... except to maybe the ego of those who think there is nothing to be scared of at Nightmare On 19th Street. We all scream down here!
Bring your honey or your homies out to Nightmare On 19th Street tonight and enjoy the screams.
