FMX Taste Tests a New Carb-Free Beer and Here Are the Results

The beer guy dropped by 94.5 FMX and let us sample a new carb-free Bud Light that hit shelves this week, Bud Light NEXT. I've got to say, we were pleasantly surprised.

As soon as I heard he was in the building, I got a little bit sad because I'm actually on a low-carb diet and I knew I probably wouldn't be able to join in whatever fun new beer he had with him. I overheard him say the words "carb-free" while he was standing outside of my office door and I immediately jumped up and ran out there.

Yes, a 100-percent carb-free beer is out there now and it's actually quite tasty.

If you're a fan of seltzers like I am, then you'll probably enjoy this new beer. It's incredibly light, and it's almost like a beer-flavored seltzer. That may sound kind of weird to the beer nuts out there, but for me, it's perfect. I think it would be really great with a twist of lime or lemon. Not only does it contain zero carbs, but it also only has 80 calories. Dope af.

Carb-free and keto friends out there, the world is our oyster. It's definitely worthy of being added to your upcoming Big Game party. Even Wes Nessman liked it, and that was pretty shocking because he's not a big beer fan. I usually take home all the sample beers we get around these parts. Lucky me...
