Texas Pastor Prays That God Will Kill Orlando Shooting Survivors

Look no closer than the Metroplex for a big dose of Christian hate. A Fort Worth pastor pledged to keep praying that the survivors or the Orlando nightclub massacre would die and burn in hell.

Pastor Donnie Romero heads up the Stedfast Baptist Church in Fort Worth, which has been named by the Southern Poverty Law Center as an anti-LGBT hate group. Pastor Romero joins Pastor Roger Jimenez of Sacramento in making some very, very hateful comments about the victims and survivors of the Orlando shooting.

Here's a little of what Pastor Romero had to say about the victims:

"[They're] all perverts, and pedophiles and they are the scum the earth, and the earth is a little bit better place now"

He went on to say this about the survivors in the hospital:

"There are still several dozen of these queers in ICU and Intensive Care, and I will pray to God like I did this morning and I'll do it tonight and I'll pray that God will finish the job that that man started. And he will end their life, and by tomorrow morning they will all be burning in hell just like the rest of them so they don't get any more opportunities to go out and to hurt little children."

Fortunately, based on the size of the room he's preaching in, his thoughts aren't that popular. The wider problem is these ugly thoughts being spread as the actual gospel according to his twisted interpretation(s) of The Bible.

What I'd like to impress on people is, there are a lot more people like this out there. This is the way they think, even if they don't say it in public. These are the people who poison religion, and they need to be outed and excommunicated for preaching this hate. I also think you need to ask yourself if you truly want to be involved in a church or belief system that has this kind of ugliness.
