U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested 89 people in Texas and Oklahoma during a three-day operation which ended on March 22, 15 of which were in Lubbock.

KAMC News reports that most of the illegal’s arrested had criminal histories. 23 of those arrested had already been deported previously, but had re-entered the U.S.

ICE reports that a total of 71 arrests were in Texas, and 18 were in Oklahoma. Aliens arrested during the operation were mostly from various Central and South American Counties, but two were from Pakistan and Vietnam respectively.
