Churros Vs Mexican Pink Cake: Which Winter Treat Reigns Supreme?

We are back for another round of Food Battle Royale with two tasty foods going head to head against each other with one winner that will move on towards being crowned the best Winter food.

Fried Dream

We start off strong with churros. For those of you living under a rock who don't know what churros are they are a fried dough that are coated in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Some churros can also have filling, like chocolate and bavarian creme, which adds another level of deliciousness. We went online to ask many of you what you preferred and there were some great responses for churros. One person did state that the best churros could be found at Cesiah's Panaderia where they have them filled with bavarian creme.

Queremos Pastel

Facing off against churros is none other than a classic treat, Mexican pink cake. Everyone and their mom knows the classic pink cake but for those it's very easy to explain. It's this decadent moist cake that comes with pink icing and the cake is pink, if it's white that is not pink cake, and sometimes it will have sprinkles that add the perfect bit of party. Pink cake is so popular that the comments had our eyes seeing pink except for the few tres leches comments.

The Winner Is...

So after looking through the comments there has been an obvious and clear winner in this Food Battle. Pink cake won in a landslide with plenty of people claiming their love for the beautiful, and delicious, dessert. Our next Food Battle Royale will involve tres leches cake and another tasty dessert.
