Lubbock recently welcomed a new gas station and convenience store, but there is still more to come.

Pak-a-Sak

The West Texas brand Pak-a-Sak has been in Lubbock for a while now, but they started building two more locations in the Hub City last year. After patiently waiting, residents will be happy to know that one of those locations is officially open.

The two new locations are both located off of Upland, with one being at 34th Street and the other at 98th. While their construction was relatively equal for months, the 98th location took the lead and officially opened last week.

The one at 34th is still in the works but looks very close to completion as well.

Both locations have Phillips 66 gas pumps, a Pak-a-Sak convenience store, and even a drive-thru. They are both located in very convenient spots for Lubbock residents living off of Upland, so many were excited for their grand opening.

These locations are typical for the Pak-a-Sak brand with everything you would expect. From quick and easy food, drinks, and more.

These two new locations mean Lubbock is up to four Pak-a-Saks, making it the city with the most of their locations, excluding their hometown, Amarillo. Other cities that have locations includes Dumas, Perryton, Canyon, Borger, Childress, Pampa, and Bushland.

I’m curious if Lubbock will be getting more locations over time, or if this is it for the chain. Only time will tell.
