Texas Tech Unveils New Football Uniforms With Adidas and Patrick Mahomes

After 18 years, Texas Tech and Under Armor have ended their relationship. The relationship ended officially on June 30. That means you will probably see a lot of Under Armor/Texas Tech branded athletic gear at discount prices.

It also means Texas Tech has a new partner when it comes to athletic gear for all Texas Tech sports. We've known since pretty much October of 2023 that adidas was going to be the new apparel partner of Texas Tech athletics. And today, Texas Tech and Adidas "ripped the tape off". That means starting today, July 1, adidas is the official footwear, uniform, apparel, and accessory partner of Texas Tech. The agreement with adidas is for 10 years.

And now we know what some of the new uniforms will look like for Texas Tech Football, and we think they look pretty good. Just watch the video below.

Texas Tech fans can now purchase licensed Texas Tech apparel from adidas, local stores, and online retailers. Texas Tech, Adidas, and Texas Tech alum Patrick Mahomes today released co-branded apparel that features Mahomes' signature Gladiator logo. According to a press release from Texas Tech, this will be the first time an adidas athlete partner's logo has been featured on official collegiate apparel.

Texas Tech Football kicks off the season on August 31 at home against Abilene Christian University. Texas Tech will then be on the road facing Washington State on September 7, before coming back home and spending the rest of September in Lubbock.
