You may have seen an image of what appears to be a statement from Spirit Halloween Store claiming that the company cannot do business this year due to COVID-19 concerns. This applies in the public health sense, but also in the inability to import items from overseas.

While convincing, that image and everything it claimed turned out to be a complete fabrication. Who spends time making up utter nonsense?

Spirit Halloween Stores are making moves to be open in time for this season. And it's not like there's a shortage of closed businesses for them to move into. Ouch, I hurt my own feelings right there.

Personally, I prefer to build costumes out of thrift store finds, but anything that happens that puts a dent on Halloween is guaranteed to hurt me, as I am a goth and it is our special day.
