Exciting New Asian Eatery Joins Canyon West Shopping Center In Lu

An exciting new restaurant has joined the Canyon West shopping center, just in time for the holiday shopping season.

It looks like a great place to refuel before or after getting all those shopping steps in.

Sushi Nami opened on Monday, December 2nd, to the delight of Asian cuisine lovers.

Sushi Nami is located at 5015 Milwaukee Ave Suite 100, across from Jared Jewelers and next to Chicken Salad Chick.

Sushi Nami offers a wide variety of sushi, of course, in addition to bento boxes, hibachi, and other Asian favorites like fried rice and lo mein.

In addition to a pay-by-the-roll model, Sushi Nami also offers an All You Care To Eat model for lunch and dinner. If you like a lot of sushi, it's a bargain at $19.99 for lunch and $29.99 for dinner.

Sushi Nami is also offering other great deals like BOGO sushi, bento, and hibachi on Tuesday, as per their Facebook post:

Sushi Nami has some really exciting sushi rolls, including the AK-47, which contains shrimp tempura, tuna, avocado, cucumber, topped with lobster salad, octopus, black caviar, and 24K Edible Gold Foil Flakes. Wow!

As a native Lubbockite, I also want to try their Lubbock roll, which contains spicy crabmeat, and asparagus, topped with pepper steak, spicy mayo, eel sauce, masago.

Sushi Nami is the latest Asian concept to open after the long-anticipated opening of Momotaro, which opened in October this year.

2024 hasn't been the easiest year for local restaurants, with many calling it quits. However, with exciting and interesting concepts like these, I anticipate success for these eateries.
