I was in San Antonio for my podcast last weekend. As I returned from getting dinner, there was a huge rush of police activity all around me right by my hotel.
I'm pretty lucky in that I've made good friends with quite a few people in bands. And when I get to do interviews with guys that are friends its always a better, more interesting interview than the normal ones you might hear.
I recently cruised up to Oklahoma for the annual Rocklahoma concert weekend. I had media passes which meant I might be able to get some rock star type people to hang out with and do interviews. And I got one that nobody else there did. Well only 2 other people did.
Kenny Wayne Shepherd has been keeping himself busy with a lot of things, but hasn't done too much musically. Now he's working on a new album, and has a side project with some huge names you already know.
