The Texas heat does not mess around, y'all. It's been absolutely horrific this week and we are just getting started. It's only going to get worse. Don't even get me started on the month of August. Lord, have mercy. Sometimes it's just too much. Every single year it's like we forget just how terrible the last summer was and we're shocked by the heat all over again.

You'd think we would know better by now, but then again, Texas is by far the coolest place to live in the United States. We sweat it out each summer just so we can enjoy the climate during the rest of the year. I think it's worth it, don't you?
