Three Dog Bakery Closes Lubbock Location After 10 Years of Serving Local Pets and Owners
The most surprising thing would happen every time you walked into the Lubbock location of Three Dog Bakery. You'd notice just how good it smelled in there.
That's because the fresh-baked treats were made for dogs, but with high-quality ingredients you'd use for "people food" too. Perhaps that's why dogs loved it so much.
Why Three Dog Bakery Meant So Much to Lubbock Pet Owners
Three Dog Bakery was so much more than baked treats for dogs, it was also dog-friendly cakes for their birthdays. Three Dog was all about celebrating the special relationship we have with our beloved pets.

It was also a source of high-quality dog food brands that, for many years, you could only purchase there in Lubbock. They also specialized in natural whole foods for dogs like goat milk and rabbit.
It was a place for people who love their dogs like family, and for people like us, it will be sorely missed.
A Look Back at the Most Popular Treats and Events
Every time I went into Three Dog Bakery, I saw a steady stream of folks purchasing items from the bakery counter, cute cookies, cakes, etc., that were seasonally themed with dog-safe and dog-desirable ingredients like peanut butter and blueberries.

I am very proud to have been part of their ten-year celebration earlier this year, which was well attended by both people and their precious dogs. 100 Lubbock folks got limited edition purple paw spot hats and tons of great treats for their animals.
Angie, the owner of Three Dog Bakery, was incredibly generous with both samples and her expertise, if you had a question about the right type of food for your dog's needs, she would take time to ensure your baby got something that would be optimal for their health.
I will personally miss popping in to Three Dog to grab cans of Moo Moo's favorite food and a little treat for her. And I will miss seeing Angie do what she loved best, helping bring dogs and their people closer together.
We wish Angie and her employees the very best of luck on their future endeavors. Thank you for 10 beautiful (and delicious-smelling) years.
