Buffalo Springs Lake Announces Closure of All Beaches

Well, this just sucks.

Buffalo Springs Lake has decided to take the high road after a weekend of bad behavior. First up to the plate were adults who were photographed not observing any social distancing rules at all. Next up were the teens/young adults who celebrated their ability to get out with a traveling brawl.

Buffalo Springs Lake can only do so much to ask people to remain civilized and to care for each other. You also have to remember that a lot of people live out there. They're no doubt mortified that they were invaded by a parade of inconsiderate morons.

I do not know if any one of these events or the cumulative stupidity was the cause, or even if their hand was forced, but Buffalo Springs Lake has announced a decision to close all beaches beginning at 8 p.m. Sunday night.
