Dog Day Howl-O-Ween Run And Costume Contest

What dog owner doesn’t love to run?

This Saturday, October 14th is the 7th  Annual Howl-O-Ween Dog Run and costume contest, presented by the West Texas Endurance running club.

The run starts at 9 a.m. along Canyon Lake 6, or choose the more challenging  and spooky four-mile course through the City of Lubbock Cemetery.

This event benefits The Morris Safe House, and donations of dog supplies for their facility are welcome the day of the race.

Don't have a dog? Don’t fret, runner without dogs are also welcome.

Be sure to dress Fido up because there will also be a canine costume contest.
