Happy Birthday To Johnny Ramone

I LOVE THE RAMONES.  Always have, always will. The Ramones got me started as a bass player and I can still rip a little Blitzkrieg Bop when needed. The boys are all gone now, but that's no reason to not celebrate Johnny Ramones birthday.

Johnny made several lists as one of the best guitarists ever. Now some of your more solo oriented players may dispute this, but I don't know if I couldn't even try to name a better rhythm guitar player. He could start and stop on a dime and do it at light speed. He was said to be very influential not just to other punks, but to many of the thrash metal guitarists of today.

Johnny died in 2004, he would have been 67 today.
