Join Me in a Humble Request to Bring the Foo Fighters to Lubbock

Maybe if we can get enough likes, we can get somebody's attention.

In these days of digital, trust me, if enough people post from a particular area, someone will notice. I published a small, humble request for the Foo Fighters to come to Lubbock. Take a look at the post, and I'll give you the link later.

We've come very close to a Foo Fighters show before. It was all lined up, but for some reason (probably cash) they decided to head down to Mexico (this was many moons ago). As far as I know, that's the closest we've come to a show.

Being the road dogs that this band are, squeezing another show out of them is not entirely out of the realm of possibility. Heck, even if we don't get them this time, maybe someone will mention to them that 'Lubbock' was all over their feed and they'll hook us up next time around.

The big question then becomes, where? Well, there are three places to be considered. I think they'd fit right in at the Buddy Holly Hall without being too rowdy for the old folks. Then, there's United Supermarkets Arena, which proved its worth as a rock venue many times over with shows from Metallica, KISS and Pearl Jam. Finally, it's always a great time to see a show under the stars at the Lonestar Amphitheater.
