Meet Margaret, a Local Rock Star From The United Family

During these challenging times, it's important to bring some positive encouragement to our neighbors who are still working in the midst of a worldwide pandemic.

Our Local Rock Star recognition project is dedicated to the men and women in our community who are working to care for the many of us who rely on them.

Meet Margaret From The United Family

Margaret is a manager for a local Market Street bakery department. Having freshly baked goods to pick up and go is a great way to help keep food on the table -- not just for the consumer, but for the many people who are involved with the production of the ingredients and paper goods used by the department.

This Local Rock Star has been part of The United Family for 14 years. She recognizes that we are all missing out on people and places we enjoyed before the current coronavirus crisis which is why she adds extra love to all of her work.

Margaret is also missing being able to spend time with friends and family. When she isn't working to keep our community from missing out on the sweet treats and flavorful bread options at the bakery, she's home with her boyfriend taking advantage of the imposed stay-at-home orders by working on projects at home, like decorating bedrooms.

Next time you're at a local United Supermarkets, Market Street or Amigos, be sure to pay attention to the many ways in which they are working to keep the stores clean and safe for both the employees and customers which make up The United Family.
