Metallica Announce Lineup For 2013 Orion Music And More Festival [VIDEO]

Okay, the thing that strikes me the most about this video is, "why is this statue playing with the ball from the cover of Van Halen's 5150 album?". Oh, that and Metallica and The Red Hot Chili Peppers together. More after the jump.

Metallica continues to try to expand their reach beyond typical "metal only" lugheads.  This years Orion festival will feature bands as diverse as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Deftones, Rise Against And Dropkick Murphys.  Of course, that's just a small sampling of the lineup and there's plenty of events to go along side the music too.  Check out the announcement video now:
