Did you notice that the world didn't end on Saturday? Did you notice that tons of media sources reported on one scuzzy nutballs claims that it was going to?

I have to backtrack at this point. Over the last month or so many media outlets ran the story of a man that figured out a mysterious "bible code" and predicted the end of the world. Central to his claims was a "hidden planet" which science has already proven doesn't exist. Well now that the world didn't end, he is now saying Saturday was "the start of..." and yada, yada, yada.

All of this brings up so many questions. Why would anyone even accept that "Christian Numerology" is a thing? Why are this year's earthquakes biblical prophecy when the millions of earthquakes before meant nothing. Why do we pay even mocking attention to knuckleheads like this?

I  am a tad concerned that fragile minds are being exposed to this type of nonsense. There's probably a bunch of kids out there that were secretly freaked the hell out at this b.s. because they haven't lived through it dozens of times like the rest of us. I don't know why we give conspiracy nuts the time of day. It's been proven that the people who perpetuate this nonsense are losers in every sense of the word.

Let's quit being so fascinated with the tragedy and horror of a world ending but continue living like each day matters. Life is tough enough without making sh@t up.
