The new first-place holders in the AL West have successfully found a chink in the armor of the Houston Astros and exploited it again and again on Tuesday.

The pitching for the Houston Astros was simply subpar and the Texas Rangers took advantage to the tune of a four-run first inning.

The Astros responded with a three-run second inning, but the Rangers walked off on the same pitcher that gave up the two-run shot to Prince Fielder last night, Will Harris. The final, via Moreland's walk-off single, was 6-5.

For whatever reason, the 'Stros have simply seemed to have fallen off, be it the inconsistent bats or erratic bullpen.

The Texas Rangers certainly made the case of a worthy postseason contender and will look to do so Wednesday night as the third game of four will take place in Arlington.
