Texas Rangers Walk-Off Against Astros
Rougned Odor put on his Superman cape Monday night in Arlington, slapping a walk-off double to score Adrian Beltre to lift the Rangers to a 6-5 win, propelling the Rangers to 7-0 against the Astros this year.
Colby Lewis and Mike Fiers both had their struggles throughout the game, as both offenses thrived off of subtle mistakes.
The twists and turns of the game wound up being a wash as the teams eclipsed the bottom of the ninth.
Adrian Beltre almost grounded into a double play, but shortstop Carlos Correa mishandled the grounder and was able to only secure one out. Rougned Odor stepped in and hit the left field wall to seal the deal 6-5.
The second game of the series will take place Tuesday night.
