Special Olympics Looks To Rebuild After Hurricane Damage

You can call it a secondary effect of Hurricane Harvey, charities are now way behind funding levels.

It sucks that we all only have so much to give. Sometimes we just say "I've done my part" and move on. Special Olympics is feeling the pinch of so many funds being directed towards Hurricane Harvey recovery.

Hey, they completely understand. Houston and surrounding areas have a lot to come back from, but they'd like to not disappoint the athletes if there is any way possible. In order to try to make up some funding, they've launched #SOTEXSTRONG a fundraising effort with a goal of $100,000 in 30 days.  You can donate anything you want of course, and if enough people do it, the pinch will hardly be felt by anybody.
