Suicide Silence Is Coming to Lubbock on September 2nd
The deathcore scene has been treating the Hub City pretty good lately.
We had Lorna Shore tear through just a few months ago, and let me tell you that show was nuts. Completely packed shoulder to shoulder, sweaty as hell, loud as hell, metal as hell. My only complaint about it was that I was standing in a weird place in relation to the speakers so my ears were getting completely blown out, but I still had a great time.
Now, another legendary deathcore band is making its way to Lubbock. I'm expecting another insane turnout for Suicide Silence, even though they're not as trendy as Lorna Shore at the moment. I mean, Suicide Silence has been the deathcore band for however many years now. I may prefer Whitechapel, but that's neither here nor there.
I'm still stoked to go to some more metal shows close by, and what's even better is that they're playing with local band All Falls Down and Cane Hill. Being in a local metal band myself, of course I'm going to hype these guys up. Go check them out on Facebook and turn up to the show early to see these guys kill it.
