Can you still believe that in 2014 there are backward-ass folks who think that "the devil" is using music to corrupt your kids? When I hear this I immediately think of those old black and white photos "proving" it, by showing "mixed race" audiences. Seriously, grow the "F" up.
I remember being a little sad in 2001 when the Taliban blew up ancient Budda statues in Afghanistan. Looking back we now know that was just the beginning of a huge mess based in religious fanaticism. Now a religious leader in Egypt is calling for the destruction of the Pyramids, the Sphinx and other landmarks of great historical and cultural importance.
Doesn't it seem like the nightly news is ramming the "New Pope" up our rears a bit? Does it really mean anything to our daily lives? Who is this guy and why would he say "yes I'll wear silly hats for the rest of my life". Some very basic thoughts after the jump.
I'm writing this in direct response/correlation to my time spent on Facebook. You can't mention guns, religion or the Dallas Cowboys (even in the nicest way) without starting a 'war of words'. It seems there are more preachers, head coaches and constitutional scholars on Facebook than there are in the biggest of cities...
I don't really want to question your beliefs. You can be believe in magical unicorns that fart laughing gas for all I car. There are those who do "overdo it" every once in a while and need to be "reeled in." Let's see if you agree with me that this little girl went too far.
