The Crowned Open the 36th FMX Birthday Bash With Brutal Set [Show Photos]

FMX turned 36 years old, and Texas metalheads The Crowned kicked off the festivities at this year's Birthday Bash.

Rockers from Lubbock and as far away as Dodge City, Kansas packed into Wild West Lubbock Saturday night (March 4) to help us celebrate the 36th FMX Birthday Bash ft. Hellyeah.

The Crowned made a headbanging splash in the Hub City, setting the tone for the rest of the night with a raucous and thrash-laden set. The band's guitarist caught many attendees' eyes thanks to his Mad Max-inspired look, complete with gas mask.
