This was another great question.  Since we do blog and photo galleries we deal with this all of the time.  I can even give you a great example. Somehow Lubbock Online talks their way into FMX events, takes pictures, then publishes them on their web site without even saying it's an FMX event.  I have an even better example for you.

The band Red Jump Suit Apparatus is in a bit of a fight because a photographer took a picture of them, then they used it on their website without giving him credit.  I understand that taking a picture requires a certain amount of skill, but shouldn't the people IN THE PICTURE be allowed to use it?  It's just ridiculous to me that someone can capture my image or the image of something I made, then keep me from using it.

What do you guys think?  I deal with this all of the time so maybe my opinion is a little off.  It would be great to hear from people who are on the "outside" of this particular situation.
