After spending three years in Lubbock, Brandone Francis says goodbye as he heads off to play professional basketball and follows his dreams.

The Red Raider fan favorite and one of the best 6th men in the Big 12 last year thanked the city of Lubbock for becoming his second home on Instagram, saying, "I got all kinda...feelings as I leave you today for good."

It's not goodbye for Francis, who called the Red Raider faithful the "best fans in the world." Francis said he'd drop back in from time to time and that the goodbye is not forever.

What's next for Francis? "Excited about the future and becoming a Pro," He said.

Francis is probably going to head to Europe to play, but nothing has been confirmed. There have been offers from leagues in Germany, France and more. He could also take a shot at the G-League if he wants to stay in the states.
