Consider The Haven On This Giving Tuesday

There are many worthwhile organizations you can support this Giving Tuesday.

If you are in the mood to pledge a little time or give a little money to an organization this Tuesday may I recommend The Haven? The Haven is a no-kill animal shelter on the outskirts of town that also serves as a home for elderly and disabled animals.

I've seen the work they do at The Haven up close and spent a few Saturdays up there myself. The crew is doing a really large job that might not get done if it wasn't for volunteers and donations.

The Haven also has many adoptable animals. If you see fit this Tuesday, pledge a donation, some time or even give an animal a forever home. You can find out more about their very modest fundraising goal right here.
