Coronado B.U.D.S. Program Should Be In Every School

There may already be a variation of this program in other schools, and if there isn't, there should be.

The program is simple; special needs students are involved in homecoming by being presented with mums, flowers and whatever else is appropriate for homecoming by the football players, cheer and pom crews. The program is called B.U.D.S. as in "Building Up Deserving Students", but I see this as a huge two-way street. Empathy is very hard to teach, but this is one way it can be done. Just the interaction between the students is huge towards building understanding and fellowship.

Coronado should be applauded and recognized for this program. If you know of other schools that do it, let's make sure they get shouted out when this gets posted to Facebook too.
