Who is ready for a red, delicious, tart moon tonight? Well, you get none of those things.

It's just a Full Moon tonight. It's a "Strawberry Moon" not due to it's color or delicious flavor, but because it was the time of the year Native Americans harvest strawberries. Across the pond, in jolly ol' England, it is also known as the Rose moon (I'm guessing at this point you could figure out why).

It should be a big, bright and bold one tonight; based on the build-up we've had all week. Let's hope for some clear skies so you can take a good look tonight. The moon actually reached (probably by the time you read this) it's the fullest state at 3:30 this morning but should still be glorious tonight.
