You should probably start making those Halloween plans now.

Halloween just makes everything better. Haunted houses and corn mazes are great, but it's also awesome when the things you do get that little Halloween Pumpkin Spice on top. With that in mind, how about a Halloween event put on by and featuring locals?

The event is called Halloween Havoc (no relation to the wrestling event) and it's entering its the fifth year. It will take place on the Saturday before Halloween at Jake's and feature live music and a costume contest with cash prizes.

On the bill for the event are Indego, Astringgency, Ghostlux, Flipcup, and Element of Nexus. This is an all-ages show. Admission will be $15 and the costume contest will be judged by the crowd.

I'm assuming that the bands won't miss this opportunity to play in costume either. I can tell you from personal experience that playing while in costume allows the musician a certain freedom and anonymity that can lead to some wild times.

The RockShow's Chrissy Covington is officially your hostess for the event I didn't know that until I saw the invite. I'm sure she'll do everything to make sure the event rocks, including, but not limited to, interpretive dancing. Okay, I just made that up.

Halloween Havoc will happen at Jake's Sports Cafe in the backroom on Saturday night, October 29th, 2022. Get out there and getcha some! Here's the Facebook event page so you can RSVP.
