I was very surprised when people started posting ticket prices for Godsmack.

We had a number of people with graphics clearly showing Godsmack tickets ranging from $300-$600! Those prices weren't for meet-and-greets or expensive upgrades either, those were for regular tickets. They were 100% correct to call those prices INSANE because they are just that. It's also INSANE to try to buy your tickets the day before they go on sale from ticket resellers, who may not even be able to deliver the tickets you want.

We were waiting for an updated press release for the show with the actual ticket prices and this is what we received:

Tickets for GODSMACK-VIBEZ TOUR go on sale to the public on Friday, December 1, 2023, at 10 a.m. (CT) and range in price from $69.75 - $129.75

Now this begs the question, why didn't we have this information to start with? Well, because this is the second promoter we discussed the show with and we weren't sure how much things had changed when Outback Concerts scored the show. We wanted to wait and see how everything added up before we gave anyone wrong information (I guess in the age of ripoff resellers we should have given an indication, but live and learn).

Please let this serve as a lesson. You've heard the saying, "When things seem too good to be true, they're rarely true", well, the other side of that is, "When things seem to be too bad to be true, they're rarely that bad". Don't get your ticket prices by word-of-mouth by some monkeys on the internet, and don't get your tickets anywhere but the official site.

Tickets for the Godsmack acoustic show actually go on sale today at 10 a.m. by using the Artist's presell code of "Vibes".
