Berl Huffman Park will be getting upgrades, mailing to its soccer facilities and it's a solid investment. Not only will it give the kids better places to play, but it will also increase the opportunities for us to host regional tournaments.

Market Lubbock is actually paying for the upgrades and they have been approved by city hall. Improvements to parking, restrooms and more are included in the package.

I do not have kids that will use these facilities but it's important that everyone recognize that we're a community and sometimes we have to do things that are for the good of the entire community. This investment in Lubbock and the kids of Lubbock is solid.
