I love this place.

It's probably no surprise to you that I'm very picky about where I eat. There are very few chains that I patronize and I can count the local places I like to eat on a few fingers (is that the way you're supposed to say that?). The point is, I like Miss Ann's, a whole lot.

Miss Ann's is at 3218 34th Street. It's a very unassuming place and it's kind of sandwiched in between buildings in a way that makes it easy to forget its there. Well, it is again, worth looking out for. Even though it may not be huge on your radar, the neighborhood locals and I guess people like me, keep that place popping.   It is, in the simplest of terms, one of those old-school burger joints that has a rather extensive menu of things besides burgers (you know, the way they used to do in the old day before corporations started spitting out exact copies of the same ol', same ol').

So let's get down to the business at hand. Do you have kids? Well, Miss Ann's is teaming with the Panhandle Pushrods care club for a Trunk Or Treat at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 30th, until the candy runs out.

The RockShow personally hosts a Trunk Or Treat (but that's a story for another day) and I can tell you that it's much more of an undertaking than you might think. I would encourage you to go grab a bite at Miss Ann's so you can both taste what I'm talking about and support their efforts to do something nice for the kids in this community.
