Musicians Benefit To Replace Stolen Musical Equipment This Saturday

There is nothing worse then when a thief steals the tools you need to make money. That's especially true when it comes to musicians having their instruments stolen.

This Saturday there is a benefit to replace a guitar which belonged to the singer of Sugarwitch. The guitar was among a number of personal items stolen from her house last week (BTW if you see this guitar around, contact us or the L.P.D.).

Lubbock singer songwriter Jessica Robinson was the victim of a home burglary. She lost a lot including a precious ring, a laptop and her prized guitar.

With so much on her plate to replace some Lubbock musicians are joining together to replace the guitar.  Ronnie Eaton and The Cold Hard Truth will be playing along with Jessica's band "Sugarwitch".

Donations will be accepted at the door. In the spirit of the season Halloween costumes are encouraged. There will be a costume contest and some raffle items. Doors will be at 8 p.m. at Jake's Backroom.

Organizers are hoping to use any extra funds raised to start a non-profit to help other musicians in need and/or to provide scholarships to music programs.
