This is why we can't have nice things.

People are unmasking, getting out and getting back to behaving like dirty, germ-invested savages again.

New Mexico health officials have put out a warning that they're seeing cases of Norovirus again. This is what you and I know as the "stomach flu" or the "terrible, no good, painful hot squats."

It might be tough to catch Norovirus because it has many of the same symptoms as COVID-19, including a low-grade fever, chills, headaches and muscle aches. Have no fear, though, because before you get those symptoms, you're likely to vomit and do something that rhymes with 'spit your brains out.'

One of the benefits, if there is one, to the pandemic was people becoming better about their sanitary habits. I mean, c'mon gang, you had a full year to learn how to wash your hands properly. It's time to take a teeny step back and behave like you don't want to die because you're going to feel like it when those Norovirus stomach cramps and a sore o-ring from wiping so much kick in.

This next part will be in bold because it is SO important:

The best defense is washing your hands because hand sanitizer is NOT effective against Norovirus.

If you get the explosive squirts, you're advised to not go to work or school for at least 48 hours after the symptoms have disappeared.

Get with the program or get one of those plush toilet seats, because you could be spending a lot of time on it.
