Other Bad Habits Of Non Mask Wearers

We have established a fact and that is that most people who refuse to wear a mask lack empathy.

The BEST part of writing this post will be the Facebook comments because they will come 99% from people who did not read this, they only read the headline and promptly power-crapped their shorts to start typing.

Empathy is the ability to put yourself in someone else's shoes. It also extends to other things like animals (who mostly don't wear shoes). As detailed in Forbes, wearing a mask is a sign of respect for your fellow humans. So to the idiot(s) that want to scream "my body, my choice" it's not about you, it's about others (the VERY DEFINITION of empathy).

A lot of this is rooted in narcissism. While it's possible a narcissist has empathy, it's very hard for someone to believe that the world revolves around them and that your feelings and health matter too.

So what might you see from somebody who refuses to wear a mask? Well, these are the same people who leave garbage in parking lots, abandon stray dogs, leave shopping carts in parking spaces and yell at fast-food workers. They are people who refuse to see how their actions have consequences with others.

The next time you see someone's profile with an anti-mask statement, go ahead and check it out. You'll find a person who has a hard time making and keeping friends. They are quick to criticize (once again, just wait for the Facebook posts on this one), believe they are right about everything and they feel a bit entitled (more at Lifehack.com).

Let me also say that some good people lack empathy. You can be worn down and/or suffer life experiences that chomp away at your empathy. You just have to work to be a better human and citizen.
