Powerman 5000 Announce 20th Anniversary Show at Jake’s Backroom

Oh hell, the 4th of July weekend just went off the chain.

The 4th of July happens on a Thursday this year, and if you're like me, you take the 5th off to recuperate from drunken firework shenanigans at my dad's house, not to mention the Festival of Tubular Meats Sausage Party.

Now, Powerman 5000 has dropped Friday, July 5th as a tour date in Lubbock. It looks like we have a plan to party Thursday and Friday, and rest Saturday and Sunday. (Who am I kidding? I'm not gonna rest!)

Powerman 5000 is going on a 20th anniversary tour for their landmark album, Tonight the Stars Revolt, which features the FMX mainstay, "When Worlds Collide."

Powerman 5000 is always a legendary live act, and we're proud to be a part of this show. Tickets are on sale now. I really think we ought to sell this one out in honor of these guys dedication to Lubbock. Let's rock!
