Watch: Robert Plant Reinvents ‘Black Dog’ in Lubbock
It's interesting to me how Robert Plant has transitioned his voice and his career.
Plant can no longer sing like the bare-chested young man he once was, but still, when he opens his mouth, there is no doubt that you're hearing Robert Plant.
I've tried to explain this to some friends, and I think this video sums it up. His voice is more mature and maybe even a tiny bit ragged, but he still rocks.
I just stumbled across this video of Plant (attributed to Shane Lane) on Facebook. I think it's pretty cool. While not perfectly recorded, it's still a nice memento of the show. I find it interesting how people react to these changes in Plant's act. Myself, I could go see him EVERY night.
