Stare At The Full Beaver Moon This Friday
Okay, I feel like this entire blog should have Beavis and Butthead laughing in the background.
I don't know if the term is popular with the young 'uns, but "beaver" is slang for....okay, let's just not go there and science this blog up.
The moon phase calendar is showing the moon at 100% of Friday and at full moon status at 12:24 a.m. In other words, it will be big and bright and ready to go all night.
So how about that beaver? Well, it was called a "beaver moon" because it signified Native American's last chance of the year to set beaver traps so they could make beaver blankets and stylish beaver fedora's for the winter.
So, there you go, we hope you get to see some beaver moon this weekend.
