Lubbock Stops

I was able to get the final word on some trivia from Sully. During his tour with Metallica, he sang "Sad But True" with the band. It was such an epic moment that I was surprised that it wasn't repeated at every tour stop. It turns out this only happened TWICE, once in Lubbock and once...

Stay Present

The band did "the big production thing" and is now doing more of an acoustic/unplugged kind of show. It's not completely acoustic, and there is some production. Sully made it very clear this isn't just two guys sitting on stools.

There is a documentary of Sully's life called, "I Stand Alone: The Sully Erna Story" and it will get you both intrigued about how he got where he is and pumped for the show to come. You can check that out right here. The documentary is based on his 2016 memoir.

The Lubbock Show

The Interview

We touched on a number of things will Sully and I think you'll find inspiring. I would also like to thank Sully for his considered and thoughtful answers, while dealing with a distracting echo on his end (you can't hear it on our end). I hope you'll spend a few minutes getting to know Sully Erna of Godsmack below.
