I guess I can't write enough about driving in Lubbock.
Each day driving in the Hub City is an adventure. On Lubbock roads, every day is "anything can happen day". When you least expect something, expect it. With that in mind, here's a selection of some of the less than desirable drivers we deal with on the daily.

This is the overly-aggressive driver, zig-zagging through traffic, merging really close, and never really seeming to get ahead, despite making move after move.

The Mosey-er
Well, we certainly have a lot of these in Lubbock. They're just not in a hurry to get anywhere. It would be okay, but a recent study has shown that people who are going too slow cause more accidents than speeders.

The Distracted Douche
C'mon, put your phone, burrito, comb or what the heck you're playing with down and focus on driving. Some people can multi-task, and some cannot. Know your limits.

Mr Or Miss Right
This is the person that hugs the outer lane on the Loop or Interstate and refuses to budge. This screws up merges and those who need to get over and get off the highways.

The Pull Out & Wait
Yes, this is the one that inspired this blog. How many times have you had someone pull out in front of you...and started going slow? Seriously, if you were in such a hurry to pull out, why not put that pedal down a little.?

I have said it time and time again, expect anything on Lubbock roads. If don't think someone will turn around on a one way and start heading back right at you, they will. People do the craziest things, especially on Lubbock roads.
