You Cannot Erase The Immortal Hulk Hogan
As you probably know by now, Hulk Hogan has been fired by the WWE. The WWE has gone to some pretty crazy lengths to erase his history with the country. I guess they don't realize that the Hulkamanics out there already have the video games, the be "Best Of" d.v.d. collections and a ton of action figures.
I believe this is my third plea that we quit "burning people at the stake". The comments Hulk made were in 2007. I cannot even begin to tell you how much I've personally changed in the last eight years. I object to the fact that some are stating "Hulk Hogan is a racist" instead of saying "Hulk Hogan made some racist statements".
I guess the real truth of the matter is that Hulk has inspired so many and if anyone ever deserved a second chance, it would certainly be him. Who else told you take your vitamins? Who else showed you that you could be flat on your back, then get up and not only fight, but win? The Hulkster is an icon and gave generations someone to look up to. Unless I see evidence of a clear pattern of racist behavior, I'm going to assume that the Hulk just had a little verbal diarrhea in a very weird situation. I'm also going to hope that he's learned to be a better person in the last eight years.
