94.5 FMX Reaches No. 1 Again

I kind of don't like people who take a victory lap or spike the ball, so I'll try not to be one.

I just wanted to pop in and thank our generations of loyal listeners who made us number one. You'd think in Lubbock that country would be king, or even oldies due to our heritage with Buddy Holly. But FMX is on top after 38 smoking years.

I'd also like to send a special thank you to everyone who made The RockShow number one in its first time out with the new show lineup. KFMX continued its streak with number one performances from Renee Raven and Tony LaBrie.

It's all you guys. You keep rock at the top in Lubbock, Texas. We will always try to bring you rock, fun and good times. I personally have a goal of keeping the station on top up until its 40th Birthday in 2021.
