The shows are about to start rolling in.

Corey Taylor is just the beginning of the name brands hitting the Hub City. We're about to see some of the club shows being scheduled, and we have a couple of larger shows looking at the market. (Trust me, Corey Taylor selling out didn't hurt, so thank you for that.)

I talked to the promoter for these shows, and as of now all of these shows are planned with NO restrictions. Yes, if you're ready to get in the pit and/or get up close and personal with your favorites, then that is 100 percent on you.

I'm also very encouraged at one big show that is looking at Lubbock because it's precisely the type of bands that we used to get before the giant mega-festivals started swallowing them up. I would very much encourage you to get out and enjoy some live rock while everything is initially rolling out because those bigger festivals are going to come back and then we may be back to slim pickings. If we continue to show these bands there's a market outside of Dallas, it could only be good for us.

Wednesday morning (May 5th) at 7:20 a.m., The RockShow will announce a really exciting club show coming to Lubbock. Tickets for that show will go on sale this Friday, so you may want to go ahead and check the balance of your bank account. We're expecting this show to sell out.

One more item: anybody who complains about any band coming to town or coming back to town at this point needs to be shunned and have their rocker card pulled. We are so grateful to be able to say once again, "Rockin' is our business, and business is good."
