The KFMX crew and the Go Rock Show Road Crew arrived early to get things ready for a great weekend of Rock and Roll. As we looked out on the empty amphetheatre there was no way that we could imagine what it would look like in just a few hours, when it would come alive and overflow with rockers. The first band up on the main stage was Dead Sarah, and by time they started, they had a much larger audience than most opening bands at the amphetheatre. Much more to come. PHOTOS follow the jump.

The FMX Birthday Bash's lineup could be our biggest in and baddest lineup ever as Korn was announced as the headliner on Friday, April 20th.

Joining Korn will be Chevelle, Lacuna Coil, CAVO, Dead Sara, New Medicine, Janus and Veer Union. Also on the tour with be Dubstep heavy hitters in Datsik, Downlink and Drugs D.O.D.

FMX Bombsquad members will have access to a presale code to buy tickets before they go on sale.

A special four pack of tickets will be sold for just $100.

250 four pack tickets go on sale at 9AM and will run until 9PM on Friday or until they sell out. The four packs are on a first come first serve basis.

Once they sell out, tickets will only be sold at full price for $37.50 plus service charge.

Presale tickets may be purchased online only through Front Gate Tickets.

Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, March 3rd.

Despite several setbacks, Saturday (3-5-11) had finally arrived, and it was time for the KFMX 30th Anniversary Birthday Bash. The day was kick started with the IN THIS MOMENTmeet-n-greet at Triple Js Chophouse and Brew Pub, followed by the KORN and DISTURBEDmeet-n-greets, and ending with the most incredible rock experience that I've seen/heard/felt in a long time! The crowd was the largest most energized that I've ever seen in the fair park coliseum, and they were completely under the control of the music.
